Separation Anxiety

Separation anxiety in dogs is a fear of being left home alone, this could be completely alone or when ‘their person’ has gone. It looks different in every dog but can vary from destructive behaviour and barking or howling to excessive licking to the point they make themselves sore or non-stop pacing. It’s heartbreaking to watch and is obviously very distressing for the dog.

I offer 2 different separation anxiety training packages. The Ultimate SA Programme which is an 8 week programme where we’ll deep dive into your dog training, you’ll receive full support, 5 zoom calls and daily training plans 5 days a week for 8 weeks. And the Introduction To SA Training, this programme is 4 weeks long where we’ll start your dogs SA training journey. You’ll receive full support for the 4 weeks, daily training plans 5 days a week for 4 weeks and 2 zoom calls. If you are unsure which package is right for you, get in touch!

8 Week Package £320

This 8 week programme is individually designed to go at your dogs pace, the 8 weeks allows
us time to trouble shoot any problems that may occur and shows you exactly how to build
a training plan and read your dogs body language to ensure the sub-threshold method is

INTRO TO SA TRAINING

4 Week Package £180

The 4 week programme will introduce you to sub-threshold training, it will give you a good idea of how the methods can help your dog and show you how the training works. We’ll look at your individual dogs body language and how to read their stress signals. There are options to extend the programme once the 4 weeks is up. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do I need any special equipment?

A: Just a device which you can access zoom and a camera dedicated to watching your
dog, these can be picked up fairly cheaply on Amazon or you can use an old mobile device.

Q: What areas do you cover?

A: Anywhere in the UK! As this is a virtual programme via Zoom you could
be anywhere in the UK.

Q: What age can I start separation anxiety training?

A: Any age! The earlier the better, contact me if you’d like to go through
a separation anxiety preventative plan for puppies.

Q: I’m not sure if my dog has separation anxiety.

A: No problem! Contact me and we can discuss what behaviours your dog is displaying.

Q: How does the process work?

A: Contact me via the contact form here I will then send you the intake form and a booking link for the first consultation. After that you’ll get access to the SA training app allowing you to access you training plans.

Q: Will this fix my dogs separation anxiety?

A: Every dog is different, and recovery time varies a lot. Often it can take months, but it’s important to remember SA is a phobia, and it takes time to change the emotion of a dog.

4 WEEK TOP UP

4 Week Package £50
This 4 week package is a top up to the Ultimate SA Programme or the Intro To SA Training programme and can only be booked if you have previously completed these programmes. This top up will allow you to continue your training plans on the SA Training App and include one 30 minute check in zoom call.
